Mary is Immaculate, a being of light. After the first apparition, Bernadette said, \u201cI saw a young lady enveloped in light.\u201d <\/i>The candle that she lit during the third apparition helped her to pray, because it was reminiscent of the one that is held by the godparents during the Sacrament of baptism.

Let’s do as Bernadette did, let’s go to the Grotto to ask for a light in our lives. In Lourdes, each day ends with a torchlight procession at 9 p.m. Then we can go to the Chapel of Light to light a candle and pray for ourselves and for all those who have entrusted their intentions to us.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
