De familie O.L.Vrouw van Lourdes is het vervolg op de broederschap van de Onbevlekte Ontvangenis, kerkrechtelijk opgericht in het Heiligdom van O.L.Vrouw van Lourdes op 8 december 1872 door de bisschop van Tarbes, en tot aartsbroederschap verheven door de pausen Pius IX, en nadien Leo XIII, eerst voor Frankrijk en vervolgens voor heel de wereld. De heilige Pius X heeft de titel gegeven en de broederschap spiritueel begunstigd. De familie O.L.Vrouw van Lourdes brengt christenen bijeen die met de hulp van Maria de genade van hun doopsel willen vernieuwen. Zij richt zich tot het actieve of rustende personeel van het Heiligdom, tot de vrijwilligers, de zieken, de weldoeners, de bedevaartsoorden, gemeenschappen en congregaties die de naam dragen van O.L.Vrouw van Lourdes, Massabielle of Bernadette.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Deze tentoonstelling vindt men in de galerie Sainte-V\u00e9ronique van het Heiligdom (op het gelijkvloers van het Informatiecentrum). Zij toont met ge\u00efllustreerde panelen de Familie O.L.Vrouw van Lourdes, de leden in hun leef- en gebedsplekken (scholen, hospitalen, bedevaartsoorden…). Zij toont ook mooie foto\u2019s van Lourdesgrotten in de Verenigde Staten, China, Jordani\u00eb, Irak en ook nog in Ivoorkust. De genade van God op voorspraak van O.L.Vrouw van Lourdes is in heel de wereld ontvangen.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Iedereen kan lid worden van de familie O.L.Vrouw van Lourdes. Zij aanvaardt alle christenen die met de hulp van Maria de genade van hun doopsel willen vernieuwen. De overledenen kunnen in een speciaal register worden ingeschreven, en zijn zo ook aanwezig in het gebed en de mis op zaterdag bij de Grot. Kinderen onder de 10 jaar kunnen onder de bescherming van Maria en Bernadette worden geplaatst.
