Giving, passing on, bequeathing: an act of faith in favour of the Sanctuary of Lourdes

Since the Apparitions of the Virgin Mary to Bernadette in 1858, Lourdes has been a place of prayer, healing, hope and consolation for millions of pilgrims. Every year, sick and frail people and those searching for meaning come here to pray, thanks to the thousands of volunteers who give of themselves selflessly in Lourdes.

The Sanctuary survives solely thanks to the generosity of the faithful: it receives no subsidies from the French State, the Church in France, or the Vatican.

The Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes is a spiritual treasure for the universal Church. By entrusting all or part of your estate to the Sanctuary, you are extending your commitment as a believer and helping to spread Mary’s message to Bernadette for future generations.

The religious and pastoral activities of the Sanctuary of Lourdes are supported by the Diocesan Association of Tarbes and Lourdes.
