Excerpt from the statutes:

The association aims to develop all social and medico-social activities intended in particular for elderly people, people with disabilities, or people in precarious economic and social situations. The association’s activities are mainly, but not exclusively, aimed at visitors to the Sanctuary of Lourdes.

Actions and Projects:

For the past two years, the Lourdes Solidarités association has been raising funds and carrying out work to make the sanitary facilities at the Sanctuary accessible. Six of the twelve sanitary facilities have been renovated and are now fully accessible. Work is continuing, with theSouth Ramp sanitary facilities due to be renovated in winter 2025/2026, for which the association is seeking donations.

The association has identified as a future objective the training of staff of the Sanctuary’s First Aid Station in caring for people with invisible disabilities.

Depending on the donations raised by the association, it can contribute to the work to facilitate the welcoming of people with different disabilities (for example, the installation of magnetic loops).

The Lourdes Solidarités association is the point of contact for entities carrying out social or medico-social projects, which could mainly be implemented on the Sanctuary site.

How to donate:

The Lourdes United Endowment Fund receives donations for Lourdes Solidarités and redistributes them.
