The TAF (Work – Future – Training) Fair took place in Lourdes on 15th January 2026 at the Espace Robert Hossein, bringing together a large audience seeking employment, training or career guidance. Organised by the Occitanie Region, in partnership with France Travail, Cap Emploi and the Mission Locale, this free event provided a forum for face-to-face networking between recruiters and candidates.
During the TAF Fair in Lourdes, the Sanctuary of Lourdes reiterated its commitment to local employment, offering numerous seasonal jobs every year to welcome pilgrims.
Every year, the TAF Job Fair is an important event for employers in the Lourdes region, who are recruiting on a large scale. With more than 550 job vacancies available in 2026, the event enabled many visitors to meet employers face to face.
In Lourdes, seasonal employment is particularly important: the town’s tourist and spiritual activity generates significant demand in a variety of sectors such as hotels, restaurants, shops and pilgrim accommodation.
The Sanctuary welcomes millions of visitors from all over the world, including many who are sick, elderly or infirm. To offer them a dignified, caring and attentive welcome, the Sanctuary relies on the commitment of its staff, whose mission is made possible thanks to the generosity of donors. A very significant portion of its budget comes from donations and offerings made by pilgrims and donors to the Sanctuary.
The Sanctuary’s participation in the TAF Fair illustrates both its role as a committed local employer and the importance of supporting its spiritual and humanitarian mission. By offering seasonal contracts, the Sanctuary not only provides employment opportunities for enthusiastic individuals but also enhances its capacity to provide the best possible welcome to pilgrims, particularly those who are ill or in need of assistance.

* Rehaussement de la réduction d’impôt pour les dons effectués au profit des associations cultuelles entre le 2 juin 2021 et le 31 décembre 2022 : vote définitif de la mesure dans la loi de finance rectificative n° 2021-953 du 19 juillet 2021. L’article 18 prévoit que le taux de la réduction d’impôt prévue au 1 de l’article 200 du code général des impôts est porté à 75 % pour les dons et versements, y compris l’abandon exprès de revenus ou produits, effectués entre le 2 juin 2021 et le 31 décembre 2022, au profit d’associations cultuelles ou d’établissements publics des cultes reconnus d’Alsace-Moselle. Les versements réalisés en 2021 sont retenus dans la limite de 554 euros. Pour les versements réalisés en 2022, cette limite est relevée dans la même proportion que la limite supérieure de la première tranche du barème de l’impôt sur le revenu de l’année 2021. Le montant obtenu est arrondi, s’il y a lieu, à l’euro supérieur. Il n’est pas tenu compte de ces versements pour l’application de la limite de 20 % du revenu imposable. Précision : ce plafond de 554€ est bien distinct de celui dit “amendement Coluche” qui permet de bénéficier d’une réduction à 75% pour certaines associations caritatives et humanitaires dites « organismes d’aide aux personnes en difficulté ». Il est bien possible de cumuler ces deux avantages.
